Mrs. Mindy Lapides a”h

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mrs. Mindy Lapides a”h of Monsey who passed away last night in a car accident on Interstate 87. She was 76.
The carsh took place at 8:20 p.m. just north of the Ramapo rest area.
Mrs. Lapides was in a Toyota Camry that was traveling north in the southbound lanes when it struck a Volvo. Her husband was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
Police are still piecing together what happened and did not have further details this morning.
