[Levaya info below.] It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Miriam Weinrib a”h of Flatbush, Brooklyn, following a lengthy illness. She was 56.
Mrs. Weinrib, nee Isbee, was the wife of the noted Judaic artist, author and talmid chochom, Rabbi Yonah Weinrib.
Mrs. Weinrib and her husband raised a beautiful mishpacha of bnei and bnos Torah. She was a beloved member of her community and her shul, Agudas Yisroel Snif Zichron Shmuel. During her lengthy illness, she demonstrated great emunah and gevurah, as did her devoted husband and her wonderful children, whose exemplary conduct in the face of their nisayon inspired many people.
Mrs. Weinrib is survived by her children, Rabbi Avrohom Weinrib, who is rov of Congregataion Zichron Eliezer in Cincinnati; Rabbi Gedaliah Weinrib of Lakewood; Mrs. Nechama Katz, Mrs. Esty Weiss, Mrs. Rivky Ochana and Mrs. Yonina Hartstein, Binyomin Weinrib, Shlomo Weinrib, Yehuda Weinrib, and Elozer Weinrib.
The levaya will take place tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Agudas Yisroel Snif Zichron Shmuel, located at 2141 Coney Island Avenue, between Avenues R and S.
