Mrs. Rochel Leah Gorelick a”h

[Shivah info below.] It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mrs. Rochel Leah (Swiatizcki) Gorelick a”h, wife of Rav Moshe Gorelick.

Mrs. Gorelick was 36 years old. She was a granddaughter of Rav Don Ungarisher zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Bais Medrash Elyon in Monsey. She had been battling illness and passed away on Shavuos.

R’ Moshe had previously been married to a daughter of Rav Meir Hershkowitz, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Bais Binyomin of Stamford, CT, who also passed away. The wedding of Rav Moshe’s oldest daughter is scheduled to take place tomorrow night.

The levayah is taking place this morning at Shomrei Hadas Chapel, located at 14th Avenue and 39th Street in Boro Park, Brooklyn. The levayah will then continue at JFK Airport, Cargo B, Building 23, at 10 a.m.

Update:  R’ Moshe Gorelick is sitting shiva until Monday morning at 1064 East 12th Street.
