It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mrs. Ruth (Itta Chaya) Kamenetsky a”h.
Mrs. Kamenetsky was the wife of Reb Avrohom Kamenetsky z”l, the youngest child of Rav Yaakov and Rebbetzin Ettil Kamenetsky zt”l.
Mrs. Kamenetsky and her husband raised an upstanding family of bnei and bnos Torah and marbitzei Torah and baal chessed.
Mrs. Kamenetsky is survived by her children, R’ Gershon Kamenetsky, R’ Yosef Kamenetsky, R’ Yitzchok Kamenetsky, Mrs. Ettie Neustadt, Mrs. Penina Zwyica and Mrs. Esther Fireman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren following in his ways.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, Erev Rosh Hashanah, at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue, at the corner of 39th Street, in Boro Park, Brooklyn. Kevurah will follow at Mt. Judah Cemetery in Queens.
