Mrs. Sarah Baron a”h


candleUpdated: It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mrs. Sarah Baron a”h of Bensunhurst, Brooklyn. She was 58 years old.

Mrs. Baron,a former teacher at Bais Yaakov of Boro Park, was the wife of Rav Moshe Baron, R”M at Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Her father was Rav Yisroel Perkowski zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud of Bensonhurst and rov of Agudas Yisroel of 16th Avenue in Boro Park.

The levayah will be held today at 1:45 p.m. at Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud, located at 2127 82nd Street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.

The aron will then be flown to Eretz Yisroel for kevurah there. A levayah will be held in Yerushalayim on Erev Shabbos at 2:30 p.m. On Motzoei Shabbos, the aveilim will be sitting shivah until 9 p.m. at 3 Rechov Menachem Meishiv in Yerushalayim.

Mrs. Baron is survived by her mother, Rebbetzin Perkowski; her husband, Rav Moshe; her siblings, including her brothers Rav Chanoch and Rav Chaim Leib; her son and daughter, and grandchildren.

  1. As a bachur learning in Bais hatalmud, R’ Moshe used to invite me over for Shabbos Seudos.

    She was a very giving type of person.
