A caller to Mike Francesa’s show had to abruptly hang up Tuesday as the car he was driving got pulled over by police.
Zack in Astoria called into to explain why he didn’t want the Yankees to trade for Noah Syndergaard. Shortly into the call, his train of thought changed.
There’s a cop behind, there’s a cop…!” he said.
Francesa couldn’t help but laugh.
On the off-chance the cop could hear the radio, Francesa called on him to go easy on Zack.
“Give him a break right now, Officer,” Francesa said. “It’s Christmastime. He was just making a call to us. He couldn’t resist the trade, the whole deal.”

distracted driving is dangerous no matter who makes the phone call
Boy do I miss the good old days. Today the Yankees play like high school kids.
Why in the world is this ‘MUST listen’? Some may find it interesting, I find the headline infantile.
What is the point of this whole nonsense do we really need to know about this
Mike is the pope. He’ll get it dismissed.
Another example of Matzav’s descent into the abyss of tabloid journalism.
