Networks agree to air Democrats’ response to Trump address to nation on border ‘crisis’
Several television networks agreed to Democrats’ request to be given air time to respond to President Donald Trump’s national address, scheduled to be aired live from the Oval Office Tuesday night, CNN and NBC News reported.
NBC, CBS and CNN said they will air the Democrats response after they and other networks agreed Monday to air the president’s prime time address on the “humanitarian and national security crisis” at the U.S.-Mexico border.
The Democrats have not announced who will deliver the response, NBC News reported.
