Near-Complete Spanish Skyscraper Forgets Elevators

spanish-skyscraperToday in uncomfortable news: a Spanish skyscraper reached 94 percent completion this week before anyone realized that the plans neglected to include a single elevator shaft.

The InTempo is 47 stories high — not exactly friendly for walk-ups — and has been plagued with problems from the start.

Financing for the project was taken over last year by Sareb, one of Spain’s less reputable banks, and customers and suppliers are reportedly owed $3.3 billion. At least the new building will be a workout. Read more.

  1. If they wouldnt have expelled the Jews in 1492 then odds are a Jew would have designed it and the mess up would never have happened
