The Republican senator from Nebraska tweeted that an unhappy constituent has taken to sending him fortune cookies, each stuffed with a withering diss.
“I’ve been getting some anonymous fortune cookies from an angry American — and I think it’s time to give props for creativity…,” he tweeted, with a photo of him holding up a message that read, “May the afterlife turn out to be a never ending series of Fox News interviews.”
“today’s cookie expressed a hope for me ‘to be trapped in an elevator’ with folks who are really angry at me,” Sasse continued.
