Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu announced last night that he will help prevent a road in Israel from being named after former Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat, Jerusalem Online reports.

“No street in the State of Israel will be named after Yasser Arafat and we will work to remove the street sign,” Netanyahu wrote on his Facebook page. “I heard about the disabled IDF veterans’ fight against a road being named after Yasser Arafat in the Jatt Regional Council. I spoke about this with Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, who clarified that his ministry did not approve this.”
