Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu on Tuesday condemned Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party for elevating Marwan Barghouti to a senior position on its decision-making body, the Central Committee.
Barghouti helped to establish Fatah’s Tanzim militia and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade that have killed dozens of Israelis.
He is currently serving five life sentences in an Israeli prison for orchestrating the murders of Israelis.
