Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu — who met with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday — might return to Washington, DC next month for the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), NRG reports.

It is also possible, the report said, that Trump will speak at the gathering — which will take place March 26-28 at the Washington Convention Center. Final decisions regarding the attendance of both leaders will be made closer to the start of the conference.

Netanyahu did not take part in last year’s AIPAC conference, as he did not want to become entangled in the presidential election campaign. Trump — then a candidate in the Republican primaries — did address the conference.

The Israeli prime minister, NRG said, apparently wants to come back to the US in the near future to continue discussions on policy matters that were begun during this week’s visit.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu was hosted for breakfast on Thursday by Vice President Mike Pence.

“Under @POTUS Trump, the US stands with Israel,” Pence tweeted.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Netanyahu called his meeting with Trump “warm and excellent.”

Later on Wednesday, the prime minister also met with a bipartisan group of congressional leaders.
