Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday thanked the Trump administration for “defending Israel’s truth.”
Netanyahu’s comments came after a senior White House official last week stated that the U.S. expects the Kosel to be part of Israel in any future peace deal with the Palestinians.
The prime minister’s comments also came ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s scheduled arrival in Yerushalayim on Dec. 20.
Israel will “warmly welcome” Pence, who is “a great friend of Israel and a great friend of Yerushalayim,” Netanyahu said at the start of his weekly cabinet meeting.
“I would like to express once again our special appreciation for the determination and leadership of President Trump and his administration in defending Israel’s truth, the firmness with which they reject the attempts to use the U.N. as a platform against Israel and their general support,” the prime minister stated, referring to an anticipated U.S. veto of a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution condemning American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
At an emergency session of the UNSC convened earlier this month, 14 of the council’s 15 member states condemned the U.S. policy change on Jerusalem. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said the world body has done “much more to damage the prospects for Middle East peace than to advance them.”

Process this more. If we have Israel’s truth, was it Moses’s Truth. It should be. He is our lawgiver. Those who think they know Israel’s truth have not even discussed Torah matters.
Its simple. We just want the right to live right now. Smart. But without Torah, we are just having clean days without any other conversation. It is not enough.
Trust is not enough.
Not surprising. An honest person can defend any truth.
What is amazing though is the reason he recognized Yerushalayim as the capital of Israel, as he said he did it in order to get Heavenly protection against his enemies – the Deep State, CIA, FBI, NSA and other liberals and Democrats who are out to destroy him. He said, “G-d said, ‘And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you’.”
So when is the US embassy going to be moved, all one has to do with a screw driver and a hammer is move the plaque from the embassy in Tel Aviv and place it on the consulate building in Jerusalem and Voila! the US embassy has been moved and now the old embassy is the consulate building and the consulate building is the US embassy, without one nickel being spent. It would be nice especially during Chanukah the time of lights, but excuses, excuses, excuses.
