The Rolling Stone cover with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, which some say portrayed the suspected Boston bomber as a rock star, has been largely criticized across the country. In an attempt to display a more realistic representation of Tsarnaev, Massachusetts photographer Sgt. Sean Murphy has decided to reveal images from the manhunt.
“I hope that the people who see these images will know that this was real. It was as real as it gets. This may have played out as a television show, but this was not a television show,” the tactical photographer said. “What Rolling Stone did was wrong. This guy is evil.
