Arson balloons launched by Palestinians in Gaza into Israel sparked seven fires on Sunday amid great tension between Israel and Hamas over such incidents which have caused great damage to fields adjacent to the enclave.
The fires were reported in the Gaza border communities, Erez, Sa’ad, Be’eri and Kissufim.
The IDF has stepped up its fight against the arson balloons with IDF aircrafts firing towards “groups of terrorists” responsible for the launching. Authorities say the kites and incendiary balloons launched from Gaza have set ablaze more than 6,400 acres on Israeli territory.
