New Square Hatzolah Revives Ramapo Police Officer

new-squareA Town of Ramapo code enforcement officer, who was involved in an accident with his town vehicle Tuesday morning, was revived after he lost his pulse.

Town Police said the 10:19 a.m. accident involved Oscar Geiss, who was driving on Route 45 when the vehicle ran off the road and struck a fire hydrant near Greenridge Way.

An off-duty Rockland County corrections officer witnessed the crash and assisted at the scene performing CPR. New Square Hatzolah Emergency Services arrived and Geiss’ pulse was restored.

He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern by Hatzolah where he remains for treatment and evaluation, police said.

The accident is under investigation by the Ramapo town Police Accident Investigation Unit.

    Calling people names is not appropriate for civil discourse. Do you not have any ethical standards and rules of what a post should be? This is not free speech. This is slander of Town of Ramapo code enforcement officer Oscar Geiss. The comment also implies that what the New Square Hatzalah heroes did was anti halachah. What is his basis and justification for that?
