beheadingA man beheaded a woman thought to be his mother, then jumped in front of a moving Long Island Rail Road train, in what’s being investigated as a brutal murder-suicide, law enforcement authorities said.

Officials found the body of a woman in her 60s outside a Farmingdale aparatment complex Tuesday night. Her head had been severed. The body of the man, who was in his 30s and believed to be the woman’s son, was found nearby, about a mile away on a section of LIRR tracks. He apparently had jumped in front of an eastbound LIRR train, officials said.

The incident appeared to be domestic and not terrorism-related, according to authorities. Read more at NBC New York.

  1. This is what happens when one leads a life without Torah. Without the 7 Noachide laws. At least the wicked man killed himself. We won’t have to hear how he was “abused” as a child. He didn’t get the cereal for breakfast that he wanted. He didn’t get his train set. He didn’t get his bike that all his freinds received. His Mother never said “I love you”. Enough with all this garbage. People have to grow up & stop blaiming their misrable lives on everyone else. Everyone has their OWN bechira in life. Make something of yourself. Enough already.

  2. Beheading being the choice of murder method for an American can be understood only with the backdrop of resurging Islamism and its far-reaching effects. This is important because it shows the contagious effect of violence.

  3. Comment 9 is not correct. The man is a murderer and a suicide. What absurdities are you imputing to him that misrepresent his motivation?

  4. Comment #10 totally misunderstood my point. Please go back and reread it.

A “straw man argument” is when you put forth an opinion that no one actually said (the “straw man”)and then argue against that imaginary opinion. Comment #4 imagined that if the murderer were alive he would theoretically try to give excuses for his crime. This may or may not be true. Thankfully, he is dead, and we will never know. I am not misrepresenting his motivation. I have no idea what his motivation was. It was obviously an evil motivation. But commenter #4 doesn’t know what the murderers excuses were either. Assuming that he would claim he was abused is pure conjecture. We have no way of knowing he would say that. Thus, it is a straw man argument.

No one is defending the murderer. Please read comments carefully before commenting on them.
