Nigeria Saves 200 Girls From Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army says it rescued 200 girls and 93 women from Boko Haram in Sambisa Forest on Tuesday. At least three “major terrorist camps” were reportedly destroyed.

Though initially it was thought the missing Chibok school girls – whom Boko Haram abducted in April 2014 – could be among the rescued, Reuters reports a spokesman saying that they are not. Read more at the Nigerian Times.
