Appearing on the Today show this morning, Nikki Haley cautioned President Trump to “never trust Russia.”
During the sit-down chat with Matt Lauer, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations was asked about Russian operatives’ alleged hacking of the DNC, as well as the Department of Justice indicting several Russians in a 2014 hacking of Yahoo. In return, she advised the president: “Take it seriously. We cannot trust Russia. We should never trust Russia.” She added, “I have always made it very clear, from my confirmation and in the words that I’ve said from the UN, that I don’t trust Russia.”
Though Haley was critical Trump’s first travel ban targeting seven Muslim-majority countries, she said she supports the newest version. “It’s not a Muslim ban,” she said. “I will never support a Muslim ban. I don’t think we should ever ban anyone based on their religion. That is un-American.” Read more at THE POST AND COURIER.
