kim-jong-un-north-koreaExperts at 38 North, an institute at John Hopkins dedicated to studying North Korea, believe the country’s new pesticide factory is capable of producing “military-sized batches of biological weapons,” including anthrax.

This comes after KCNA, North Korea’s state-run media agency, released photos of Kim Jong Un touring a pesticide factory.

Analysis of the photos reveal that the factory is capable of mass-producing biological weapons.

While the photos do not reveal whether North Korea has yet made anthrax, researchers at 38 North believe that the country can easily and secretly reset the pesticide equipment to make biological weapons within days. Read more at 38 North.
