Mayor de Blasio on Tuesday will personally deliver a message to France on behalf of New Yorkers: Je suis Charlie.

The mayor travels to Paris to show support for France following the recent terrorist attacks that killed 17 people at the Charlie Hebdo satirical weekly newspaper and a Kosher supermarket.

“The Mayor will stand in solidarity with our friends in Paris and across France to send the clear message that together we will fight terrorism and anti-Semitism at every turn, and that crude attempts to intimidate free expression will not succeed,” de Blasio spokesman Phil Walzak said in a statement.

The mayor will participate in seven different events, including wreath laying ceremonies at the Charlie Hebdo office, the Hyper Casher Jewish supermarket and where police officer Ahmed Merabat was shot and killed.

He will also meet with Paris Mayor Anne Hidaglo and Jewish leaders. Read more at the NY Post.
