An NYPD lieutenant was stabbed in the arm this morning in Brooklyn, police said.
The lieutenant was on duty when he was attacked around 11:20 a.m. at 145 East 18th St. in Ditmas Park.
The lieutenant was stabbed in the forearm with a kitchen knife while responding to a call of an emotionally disturbed person, police told WCBS 880.
He was rushed in Kings County Hospital, where he is said to be in good condition.
The injury is not considered to be life-threatening.
A suspect has been taken into custody, WCBS 880 reported.

Ha, and we were led to believe by DeBlasio and his home boy, Bratton, that crime was down. How could we have been hoodwinked like that? I want to see how they are going to play with the numbers and spin this one.
This country needs to do more to keep all weapons out of the hands of its citizens!
