NYPD’s ‘Most Wanted’ Fugitive Arrested in North Carolina

nypdThree men wanted by the New York City Police Department have been arrested in Rocky Point, North Carolina, including a suspect who had been listed as the “Most Wanted Fugitive” on the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Web site.

Rasheem Williams, 37, was being sought in connection with 15 armed robberies in the subway system.

Williams and the other two suspects, Jamal Williams and Michael Lewis were picked up by members of the New York and Rocky Point police departments with assistance from the U.S. Marshall Service.

Jamal Williams was on New York City’s list of Top 100 Wanted People. Lewis was wanted for probation violations.
