Bill O’Reilly threatened a New York Times reporter not to publish anything he deemed inappropriate, according to the Times. “I am coming after you with everything I have,” O’Reilly reportedly said during a phone conversation with the journalist. “You can take it as a threat.”
O’Reilly has come under fire since last week’s Mother Jones report indicated that he has exaggerated and misrepresented his experience covering the Falklands War for CBS News in 1982. O’Reilly repeatedly said he was “in a combat situation” then but was actually covering a violent riot in Buenos Aires, 1,200 miles from combat.Read more at The New York Times.
