Wednesday November 14, 2012 6:26 PM - One Comment

obamaPresident Obama said t0day that there is “no evidence” that any classified evidence leaked in the scandal involving former CIA director David Petraeus and U.S. Gen. John Allen.

Obama said the FBI has their own protocols on the investigation involving Petraeus, who resigned last week. His biographer’s home was searched Monday for classified information.

Meanwhile, the president also insisted that he is pushing the House of Representatives to come to a deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff, the term that refers to what will happen when the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of the year and a set of draconian spending cuts phase in. Obama said he had heard “Republican after Republican” say they need more revenue from the wealthiest Americans, and he said the “math tends not to work” in simply closing loopholes to avoid the fiscal cliff.

winning only 50% of the American people is no mandate to do what you want. why not tax the people who voted for obama only and let the others live
