Obama: Afghanistan War Will End in 2016

afghanistanPresident Obama is promising to “bring America’s longest war to a responsible end.” Today, Obama announced the U.S. would begin a massive draw-down of troops in Afghanistan from 32,000 to 9,800 by the beginning of next year-if the Afghan government signs a bilateral security deal-with a complete withdrawal by the end of 2016.

The plan is being hotly debated inside the U.S. government over whether it’s enough to stop al Qaeda. Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Kelly Ayotte, slammed the deal as “a monumental mistake and triumph of politics over strategy.” Read more.

  1. Sure can’t wait until it is finally time to bring Obama’s Presidency to a “responsible end” in 2016 and to have a massive draw-down of all the extreme and radical left-wingers currently infesting the highest levels of our government!
