obama-fergusonPresident Obama, speaking live to the nation after the decision in Ferguson not to indict a police office for the killing of Michael Brown, said that “America isn’t everything that it could be.”

“We shouldn’t try to paper it over,” said Obama. “Whenever we do that the anger may momentarily subside, but over time it builds up. And America isn’t everything that it could be. And I am confident that if we focus our attention on the problem and we look at what has happened in communities around the country effectively, then we can make progress not just in Ferguson but in a lot of other cities and communities around the country.”

  1. With comments like that America could be much more divisive and full of hate. It could be much less fair and unjust. He’s right. There’s a lot more potential for America to be worse than it already is since he came into office. His goal is for America to reach that potential.

  2. This dunce has his head deep in the sand. When he admit that %97 of crime in the black community is black on black crime? Not white on black!

  3. people have to remember if they destroy this country the protesters and all others will have to still live in this country that they have destroyed, I hope people remember that.

  4. Obama is the instigator of all the riots by the way he talks; he incites these lowlifes by his dumb statements. If he would act like a president, instead of like a pereh odom, then things would be different. But how can he, if he is one of them! All the troubles start from the top and filter down.

  5. this thug robbed a store and assaulted the owner. certainly, America is ‘not what it should be’. it’s not what it used to be, either. what does the color of his skin have to do with it? except that he regards Sharpton as his idol. the African American community was justifiably proud when Obama was first elected, I bet many of them are embarrassed now
