As he prepares to leave office, President Barack Obama admits he was in tears during a send-off dinner with his senior staff, Newsmax reports.

“I got through about four minutes of the thing and then started to get my hanky out,” Obama told former aide David Axelrod during a podcast interview. “There are two things that can get me teary. One is talking about my daughters or see my daughters. And the second is my team.”

In the interview with Axelrod, Obama says had he been able to seek a third term, he is confident he would have been reelected. “I am confident in this vision because I’m confident that if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could’ve mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it,” Obama said. “I know that in conversations that I’ve had with people around the country, even some people who disagreed with me, they would say, ‘The vision, the direction that you point towards is the right one.'”

  1. This man is living in a dream world. Hillary lost the election because the majority of the country had enough of Obama’s policy of methodically weakening this country and understood that Hillary would just be more of the same. He’s out of his mind if he thinks that he himself could have been reelected.

  2. He’s so full of himself it’s unbelievable. Hillary was running on his coattails and if is true what’s he says she should have won. She lost in part because people feel let down by Obama. Yet he feels he could have won a third term. Not a snowballs chance

  3. this man continues to be delusional. a third term?!? and he really thinks he would have been reelected? boy, is he living in a bubble! did he not see the rejection to hillary (the obama clone). i sure hope Trump doesn’t get to be that way and that he stays in touch with the general public.

  4. Unfortunately he may be correct. Ppl are just so lost and confused and don’t know truth from false. But BH that’s not the case and he can’t run again

  5. HA! A third term??? Whatever……

Here is my beef with this Mushchas. Certain things are sacred. The Oval Office- the office of the most powerful person in the world, and he didn’t even have the courtesy, the brains or the respect to treat it for what it is. Aside from all the policy flubs and political issues, I am talking simple low level basic respect at an elementary level. Pictures of this guy with his feet on the desk, sitting there as if this is just another day at work. UCH. Yuck. sick.

Had he treated his role with the respect it deserved, had he treated his position with the respect that it deserved, had he realized what he represented and acted in the way one with such power and regard should act then maybe he would have made better decisions. Had he lost his ego and not thought that this was all about him maybe we would have been in a better place. Then again, had he done anything good we would have been stuck with the machashayfa. So hindsight, perhaps because he was what and who he was we will now at least have a person that can make things right and normal in charge.

    Who knows.

All we do know is that it always was, is and will be in Hashem’s hands

  6. Dear Leader. Don’t let the door hit you while you crawl back to where you crawled out from. Be it Chicago, Kenya or Irano-ISIStan.

  7. Americans have been crying for EIGHT YEARS over the disasters that fell them with his “leadership” – lower incomes, lost jobs, lost companies, TRILLION DOLLARS DEBT, taxpayers losing their “bread & butter”, crime way up, ILLEGALS galore in the US, Radical Islamic Terrorism on the rise everywhere.

IT IS ABOUT TIME HE CRY FOR ALL THE BAD DECISIONS & DICTATORSHIP he put onto ALL LEGAL AMERICANS

  8. Like it or not, Obama’s probably right. Bill Clinton probably could have won a third term, too. His popularity took a hit when he was impeached, but then it rebounded, for the simple reason that the country was doing well. There was peace and prosperity.

George Bush, on the other hand, would have gotten clobbered if he’d run a third time. He left the country with two wars that accomplished nothing and a near-depression.
