Obama Invites Ahmed to White House

obama ahmedPresident Obama tweeted in support of Ahmed Mohamed, the Texas 14-year-old whose homemade clock got him arrested in Irving, Texas, on Monday.

“Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.”

The White House press secretary said Mohamed has been invited to attend an astronomy night event next month, and added that the teenager’s teachers “failed him.”

  1. This is of course simple, but I can really think Obama is giving the story more reserved gratuity than it has offered the worry in a post-9/11 social era.

This child will need more voice perhaps.

Tidy thought but seeing it fits an already scheduled issued time for play, its actually nice.

But having this issue stop our president from learning more about dauly threats and ongoing need, it might be irresponsible.

    Focus on less islamophobia.

  2. There is worldwide suspicion among Muslims that the U.S. is the “Great Satan” and is hostile to Islam. What’s wrong with President Obama taking this opportunity to show that we are a fair and friendly country? Does it really bother us that a kid who’s 100% innocent of any wrongdoing is invited to the White House after being unjustly accused and arrested (in all probability due largely to his race and religion)?
