Obama NYC Visit Mass Transit Disruptions


obama1President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit Manhattan today. The U.S. Secret Service and the New York City Police Department will close streets and create so-called frozen zones. Some local and express bus routes in Lower and Midtown Manhattan are expected to be either severely delayed or detoured between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The M1, M2, M3, M8, M9, M14, M21, M101, M102 and M103 routes will have the greatest disruptions.

Some subway station entrances may be temporarily closed.
