white-houseTechnicians have finished installing solar panels on the White House roof, capping a project that President Obama hopes will send a signal that renewable energy is feasible and environmentally shrewd.

Citing security and other concerns, the White House won’t say how many panels now encase the top of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. or how much they cost.

Obama wants to use his personal example to spur families and businesses to do more to reduce reliance on foreign energy and cut emissions blamed for global warming.

The project required technicians to first drill down to the concrete on the White House roof, then use epoxy glue and threaded rods to install a gridded subassembly onto which the solar panels could be secured.

Obama isn’t the first president to deploy solar at the White House. President Jimmy Carter spent $30,000 on a solar water-heating system for West Wing offices in the late 1970s, but his successor, Ronald Reagan, tossed the panels after he moved in.

  1. The well-funded and massive “Green Lobby” on K Street in Washington, D.C. is overflowing money at its disposal to donate to the extreme left-wing Democrat party candidates.

Hedge fund billionaire Tom Steyer is one who helps bankroll these lobbyists to promote their global warming hoaxes and counterproductive extremist agenda.

As you can see, Obama, Tom Steyer, and the Greenies, are real, real, tight!

  2. I am most certainly one of the many millions of people who are very severely opposed to and abhorred by probably most of the policies and actions of the current President.

However, when he — like anyone else — does something that IS beneficial and constructive, I most certainly will be all for it!

The construction and installation of devices that capture and provide people with energy from the sun is obviously a very highly honored constructive endeavor. The sun is an excellent readily available source of energy; utilizing it does not produce the gravely toxic pollutions (of other energy productions) which gravely harm people. Yes, modern society would be tremendously helped if every home and business and public building would have solar panels!
