obama5President Obama is resorting to stricter enforcement to cope with the increase in unaccompanied minors from Central America attempting to enter the U.S. He is expected on Monday to ask Congress for more than $2 billion to expand border enforcement and grant broader powers to immigration officials.

He will also ask Congress to revise immigration policies to allow for fast-track screening and deportation of children migrants from Central America; this policy is already in place for children who illegally cross the border from Mexico. The president admonished the parents of Central American children who send them to the U.S. alone.

“Do not send your children to the borders,” he stated in an interview with ABC this past week. “If they do make it, they’ll get sent back. More importantly, they may not make it.” Read more at the New York Times.

  1. Didn’t the left excoriate Arizona Governor Brewer for advocating a similar policy?

Surprised Obama took a day off from global warming. The pompous establishmentarians who proclaim our need to hand over money and power to them in order to escape an imaginary danger are charlatans, and deserve no respect at all.

The left’s pompousness is further elevated when they excoriate Republican suggestions and implement those very suggestion themselves later on.

    Incredible.
