President Obama intends to take Cuba off the list of state sponsors of terrorism, according to an announcement from the White House on Tuesday.

The move would help restore diplomatic relations between the two countries and comes after Obama and Cuban president Raul Castro met last week at the Summit of the Americas-the first such high level meeting since 1960.

Cuba was added to the terrorism list 30 years ago, joining Iran, Sudan, and Syria. Read more at the New York Times.

  1. Extreme radical left-wingers like Obama naturally gravitate to the leftist Castros which, by the way, have so much blood on their hands.

Netanyahu? Obama rolls out the red carpet (pardon the pun) for Castro and nuzzles with the Iranian mullahs while throwing Netanyahu under the bus.

GUESS WHAT! HILLARY WOULD DO THE SAME THING.

  2. Actually Cuba hasn’t been a terrorist supporting state for over two decades. Its inclusion on the list degraded the credibility of the rest of the list. Just because you don’t like another government does not make it a terrorist government.

It is also worth noting that the US-supported Operation Condor was a far more effective terrorist network than anything the Castros ever managed. It even carried out terrorist murders in Washington, DC, in 1976.
