Today, the leadership of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America congratulated Barack Obama upon his reelection as President of the United States.
The following letter was transmitted to the President this morning:
Dear President Obama,
On behalf of the leadership of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, we write to say mazal tov and express our congratulations upon your
re-election as President of the United States.
We offer our prayers that God will grant you the wisdom, strength and compassion to address the challenges that face America today.
We look forward to partnering with you to tackle many of these challenges, including – strengthening our economy with fairness for all, supporting our indispensible charities, expanding educational opportunity, defending religious liberty and advancing the national security of America, Israel and the world.
May God bless you and your beloved family, and Vice President Biden and his family, as you prepare for your historic second term of service to our nation.
