OU Pre-Pesach Webcast Set for March 12

The Orthodox Union’s two poskim are making themselves available to answer questions this year for its annual pre-Pesach webcast, set for March 12 at 2:30 pm EDT.

This is not the first time  Rav Yisroel Belsky and Rav  Hershel Schachter have faced a barrage of questions about the intricate halachos faced by Yidden preparing their homes for the chag.

The webcast “will provide ample time for men and women to ask the questions they need to prepare for the holiday and to observe its eight days properly,” noted Rabbi Eliyahu Safran, OU vice president of communications and marketing.

“As with all other kashrus webcasts, it will be archived so that it can be referred to again and again,” Rabbi Safran added.

This year, the poskim will focus on questions and answers relating to “Preparing the Home, Preparing the Head” – issues regarding house cleaning, kitchen preparation and the Seder.

Viewers are advised to log on to the site 15 minutes prior to the program.
