Official PA TV host: “Sister Alia, the Palestinian woman in the Lebanese refugee camps was man’s partner in the struggle. What is the meaning of this [International Women’s] Day for her?”
Director of the General Association for Women’s Affairs in Tyre Alia Zamzam: “The woman is indeed the man’s partner and follows his path. She is carrying out a mission, and as he struggles, we also struggle. Sister fighters from this refugee camp have died as Martyrs. We salute sister Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., who led killing of 37)… Dalal Mughrabi is one of the fighting sisters, and it may be that she paved the path before the sisters so they continue . She was a source of pride for the Palestinian woman.”
Official PA TV host: “Yes, on this day we must remember Dalal Mughrabi, may Allah have mercy on her. ”
