House Speaker Paul Ryan is reportedly set to deliver a Tuesday afternoon speech announcing that he has no plans to enter the Republican presidential race.
During a talk at the Republican National Committee’s headquarters, Ryan will reportedly “rule himself out and put this to rest once and for all,” an aide told CNN.
Though Ryan has repeatedly denied that he has plans to run, the New York Observer reported Monday that he will meet with “twenty or so” big GOP financial bundlers next week.
Prior to becoming House Speaker, the Wisconsin congressman famously declared he had no intention of running for that position either. Read more at CNN.
