During the annual Groundhog Day ceremony Thursday morning, Pennsylvania’s most famous rodent, Punxsutawney Phil, predicted six more weeks of winter, as he was said to have seen his shadow. The “forecast” was taken at sunrise.
Previous Phils have, back to 1887, predicted more weeks of winter 103 times and an early spring only 18 times. Several years’ results were not recorded. Read more at ABC-6.
