Israeli President Shimon Peres on Thursday sent a letter to President Obama saying: “From Jerusalem I am joined by the people of Israel in an expression of concern for the ravages caused by Hurricane Sandy and the destruction it left in its wake. Our hearts go out to the people of America and I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this superstorm.
“We are looking with admiration upon the courage of the American people and its leaders in dealing with the present ordeal. Our hearts are with you.”

Mr. Peres, does your heart go out to the poeple of Isreal, who were forced out of their homes once, twice, and again?? Does your heart go out to the poeple of your own country who go to sleep at night not knowing what tomorrow will bring?? Do you care for the pathetic citizens who look for shelter daily, protecting themselves from the storm of missiles which fall daily not letting themm live a day of peace??!!! What are you doing Mr. President for the poeple of your own nation whos suffering knows no bounds??? Look no further than Isreal to see distruction, pain, fear, and death!! I have no idea what comments 1 & 2 are talking about! Is Peres to blame for terrorism? Peres did the professional and proper thing by contacting the U.S. in a time of disaster. What are you blaming him for?!
