Pete King: Obama Must Put ‘Fear of God’ in ISIS

President Barack Obama should be putting the “fear of God” into the Islamic State (ISIS) by making them think there is nothing to United States won’t do to defeat them, Rep. Pete King said Sunday on “The Cats Roundtable” on New York’s AM 970.

Obama has come under fire from Republicans and some Democrats for his request to use military force against ISIS. Critics don’t like the fact that he spelled out the fact he doesn’t plan to use ground forces and that the authorization will be limited to three years.

“You don’t tell the enemy in advance this is not what you’re going to do. You don’t tell the enemy in advance this is going to expire in three years,” King, a New York Republican, told host John Catsimatidis.

“The enemy plans accordingly,” he said. “I want ISIS to think that we’re going to use a million troops; we’re going to stay there 100 years; and we’re going to use every weapon.” Read more.

  1. Obama does not fear G-d. Thus, he cannot instill the “fear of G-d” in anyone even though he thinks he can.

Obama is King Canute of the White House that can make the sea levels change. All must genuflect at the feet of Barack Hussein Obama.

Congressman King needs a better choice of words.
