It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rav Mordechai Braude z”l at the age of 92. Rav Mordechai was a talmid of the Telshe Yeshiva in Lita and was a tremendous talmid chochom. He spent his life immersed in Torah learning and served as a shining example to all.
Rav Mordechai was a Holocaust survivor of the Dachau Concentration Camp.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Edna, his beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His children are R’ Avi Braude, R’ Yaakov Braude, R’ Yitzchok Braude, Mrs. Chava Miriam Neustadt and Mrs. Kreindy Silver.
The levaya was held yesterday at Shomrei Hadas Chpels on 14th Avenue in Boro Park.
Shivah is being held at 1084 East 21st Street, between Avenues I and Ave J in Flatbush, until Friday afternoon.

i know his 2 sons Avi and Yitzchok aka Itcha Avi is always doing chassadim for people besides being on hatzolah and Itcha being the Mazkir by the Gerrer Rebba always answering the phone as you are his best friend always going in to the Rebba and making you feal like your the only one around answering the shailos in a discreat way so noone knows about your personal life says alot for their father never met him but with 2 chilldren like that he must have beeb=n a great man!!
