Phil Murphy Sworn In As Governor Of New Jersey

Gov. Phil Murphy was sworn in on Tuesday, replacing former Governor Chris Christie.

Murphy, 60, said New Jersey with his swearing in has “turned to a new page” and embarked “on writing a new chapter in our history.”

 

Murphy was joined by his wife and four children at the swearing-in ceremony in Trenton. His Inaugural Ball will take place Tuesday evening at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

  1. I don’t get it. Let’s say I live in nj and don’t want refugees or immigrants coming and taking all the programs and ruining my state. Let’s say I side with Pres Trump. Let’s say a lot of us do…should our Governor ask us what we want!?!??!?

  2. Unfortunately people get what they voted for, Now you have a duplicate of the NYC mayor in NJ as the governor, now I can hardly wait for the complaints. Keep on voting for the same thing people and you will get the same thing.
