obama-oval-office-smallDoes this photo of President Obama in the Oval Office convey anything to you about his attitude? Would you speak with the Chief of Staff, your Chief Economics Adviser, and your Senior Adviser with your feet up on the Resolute Desk – a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880?

  1. This boy President has no manners, class or respect.

President Bush would not enter the Oval Office himself — or allow anyone else to — without a jacket and tie!

And President Bush would stand when speaking to his father (the first President Bush) on the phone!

  2. It was heartwarming to hear that about President Bush.

However, I would not take the feet on the desk too seriously. I believe this is done my many executives at least sometimes.

  3. 4, look at the picture of bush with his feet on the desk – whats the difference? either they are both boys or there is nothing wrong with both behaving the same way. the kjcket and tie claim is a MYTH there are photos of bush without a tie and his sleeves up and people without jackets in the room.

  4. Matzav: There are enough substantive issues to be critical of when it come to President Obama, without having to lower yourselves to such immature silliness. Grow up Mr. Editor!

  5. There are NO photos of Pres. Bush — or anyone else during his term in office– without a jacket in the Oval Office, as it never happened.

  6. reagan started the ritual of wearing a jacket in the oval office, and it was continued through bush, ad obama is the first to break that pattern

  7. Why cant you post the picture of Bush doing the same thing? you know he did it, it is GNEIVAS DAAS not to. it makes you no better then the biased media which you hate. seriousl;y. you have see the photo, you know its there, just post and be honest.

  9. as long as the matzav editors continue to delete the truth they are oyver on geniva from the public – gneivas daas, deception of the mind is very serious especially when you control the flow of information as sanctioned by the gedoylim and rabbonim who support its disination throu your obtensibly kosher means.

  10. GW Bush put his feet on the desk. Ford put his feet on the desk. There’s a picture of Kennedy letting his kid play under the desk. The haters need to get a life. Or at least a clue.

  11. amazing how off the deep end you right-wing kooks have gone.

There are tons of photos of just about every president in the modern era with their jackets off and their feet on that very same desk.

    what is the point?

I suspect the point is that you people are increasingly desperate and thus resort to the most ridiculous sort of accusations.

  12. As of today April 14, 2010 the news is showing President Bush with ….. You guessed it, his feet on the desk also. This should not be a black and white issue as my fellow white race is making it. We are all US citizens under this President. Cut him some slack as I a republican have done. Geez.
