WAIT I HAVE A NEW IDEA WHY DON’T WE OPEN A YESHIVA FOR JEWS. A YESHIVA THAT WILL ACCEPT EVERYONE. THAT CAN BE THE NEW THING. BEING INCLUSIVE INSTEAD OF EXCLUSIVE.
to Yellow Zebra.
I like your posting name but don’t agree with your comment. Everyone has a point at which they become exclusive and not inclusive. Would you want your child’s yeshiva to accept the adopted child of openly toeiva parents? or conservative/reform parents? How about a child from a home that is intermarried and raises their children with both faiths? I understand I am giving extreme examples but the same finger can be pointed at you. Why be exclusive? just accept everyone.
The reality is that EVERYONE is exclusive and “builds walls” the difference is what are my values? at what point do I reject another’s value as an alien and dangerous influence?
there are enough schools that are exclusive, there are problems in many communities of people who cant get their kids in any school and there is nothing wrong with them. we do not need to exacerbate a problem that already exists. we need more seats in regular yeshivos not to open more exclusive ones.
Smart move
the trick will be if they only raise money from people without smartphones
killed it

I heard you could only apply online…
Chiddush Assur Min Hatotah?
much better idea; open a yeshiva for parents who don’t talk during davening.
In other words no rich parents allowed. I’ve yet to see an oisher who doesn’t have a smartphone.
Don’t you think this is a little overboard?

apparently you know nothing of american jewish history before the extremely succesful bal teshuva movement of the 70s
Everyone is welcome (liberal term inclusive) to free themselves from their smartphone & happily register in to the new school.
