racism[Photos below.] Protesters assembled in Ferguson, Missouri, and across the U.S. Monday night following the announcement that a grand jury would not indict the officer who killed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch announced in a press conference Monday that the jury found no probable cause to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the Aug. 9 death of Brown, who was unarmed.
