  1. When Orthodox Jews spend time in Washington rubbing shoulders with Politicians, it never ends well for us. Why must we be in their faces at all times? Look at Germany during the 1930’s , where did it get us?

  2. can anyone explain to me why this is a KIDDUSH HASHEM please i cant wait for this great anwer. maybe if i understand it a little better i would also be proud.

  3. Doesn’t it say in Avos not to get too chummy with the ruling autorities, because they only respond when it’s in their own interest, and when we need them they forget they know us? A politician is a politician. When the photo-ops are over, then we find out who’s sincere and who’s not.

  4. Response to #5 –

    Yes, ??? ?????? ????? ???? ?????? ?? ???? ??? ????? ????. Also ????? ????…?? ?????? ?????.

We know from Chazal that before they went to ???? they learned part of the ???? related to such encounters. They didn’t go for photo ops.

  5. Historically we’ve always had askanim (think Rav Joselman of Rosheim). We should thank them and have them in mind in tefillos such as the mi shebeirach after Yekum Purkan. Do any of us know what good really goes on behind the scenes?
