Brooklyn, NY – Satmar Chassidim gathered at the Bedford Avenue armory in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, to mark Chof Alef Kislev, the day Rav Yoel Teitelbaum zt”l, the Satmar Rov, escaped from the Nazis during the Holocaust.
Over 10,000 Satmar Chassidim packed into the Crown Heights Armory, where they danced and heard drashos from rabonim, punctuated with a drashah from Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum of Satmar.
The event featured a fundraiser for the Satmar mosdos.
