rav-nosson-tzvi-finkel-returns-to-ey[Photos below.] Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim, has returned home following a ten-day visit to the United States as his yeshiva faces an unprecedented financial crunch.

Rav Finkel was greeted by a large crowd of his dear talmidim as he was brought to his home in the Bais Yisroel section of Yerushalayim.

During his recent trip, Rav Finkel was accompanied, as he is throughout his trips overseas, by his brother-in-law, Rav Binyomin Carlebach.

Due to the world economic situation, Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim finds itself with debts of $15 million.

Rav Finkel visited Monsey, Lakewood, Deal and Baltimore where talmidim, parents and friend gathered to assist the rosh yeshiva and be inspired by him as he seeks to carry his yeshiva of 5,000 talmidim.

Once again, Rav Finkel’s mere presence inspired thousands who were privileged to meet him, speak to him and hear words of chizuk from him.

See below for photos of Rav Finkel being greeted by talmidim as he returned to Yerushalayim:

  1. Does anyone know if the Rosh Yeshiva was Matzliach in covering the deficit while here in the states? It is such a painful trip for the Rosh Yeshiva and I hope he was able to collect what the yeshiva needs so the Rosh yeshiva does not have to make another emergency trip in.
