The Sadigura Rebbe is currently in the United States for a visit from Eretz Yisroel.
He traveled to the US to participate in the wedding of a grandson and a great-granddaughter of his father, the previous Sadigura Rebbe, the Ikvei Abirim zt”l, this past week. The chosson is a son of the previous rebbe’s son-in-law and daughter, Rav and Mrs. Pinchos Shapiro, rov of the Sadigura Bais Medrash in Tel Aviv. The kallah is a daughter of Rav Shlomo Scharf. Rav Shlomo is a son of the Ikvei Abirim’s son-in-law and daughter, Rav and Mrs. Shmuel Scharf of Boro Park.
During his visit to the United States, the Rebbe visited Lakewood, where he led a tish this past Motzoei Shabbos, Parshas Shoftim. He also participated in a kevias mezuzah at Rav Shea Gelbwach’s shul, Ner Yisroel, at the corner of Ridge Avenue and East 7th Street in Lakewood, and went to the future site of the Sadigura Shtiebel of Lakewood, located at the corner of Holly Street and Stirling Avenue, to observe the progress of the construction of the new shul building, whose foundation has been poured.
