  1. I don’t get it. Chanuka licht isn’t a free for all, regarding where one lights. Chazal were misakein to light in/out your house to be mekayaim pirsumai nisah. One who thinks that he has the mitzvah of pirsumai nisah or mitzvas hadlaka by lighting in the streets, in someones house, in other places other than a shul, has blackened the mitzvah and have turned another mitzvah into a personal activity. Sorry, pirsumai nisa is not what each person precieves as pirsumai nisa, it’s what chazzal established as the way to be mikayeim it. Anything else, is bizui hamitzvah and utterly a waste of time.

  2. This has nothing to do with Kllal Yisroel. These people are making choizik from our heilige yom tov of Chanuka. Why are they doing this in public and having goyim join? This is exactly the opposite of what the Chashmonayim had in mind.

  3. To #2
Did you speak to the Chasmonayim? Which Chashmonayim, Yanai Hamelech or King Hordos ? They both killed out all Chachmei Hatorah.
